I have not seen the info on the RE710 yet, but I drive a 93 honda civic si, and I'm on my second set of RE71's. I ride my tires pretty hard, autocrossing them about twice a year and pushing them alot on the road. I got about 65,000 miles out of the first pair, but I do suggest getting a set of Blizzaks if you get snow like I do in WI.
