I cannot speak for the rainforce, but I have used the Michelin LTX M&S and the earlier version XCH4 for about the past 9 years. And about 400000 miles later I can say that I have been very pleased. I have gotten at least 70000 to 80000+ miles out of each set on a (2) S-10 pickups. I am currently debaiting on going to LTX AT or whatever the next aggressive tread patern is, but I am not forsure how much I will lose on milage? GOOD LUCK
