The exterior of the QX4 begins with body panels constructed of DURASTEEL®, a metal with 50% more plating thickness than ordinary galvanized steel. Each panel is then laser-etched, creating an extremely smooth surface on which the paint will be applied. EXTERIOR PAINT
Finally, Infiniti finishes with its three-coat/three-bake painting process. The entire car is then sprayed with a unique cross-linking clearcoat that not only give the QX4 its distinctive "wet look", it actually makes it more resistant to scratches.
The QX4 features interior top grade glove leather seating surfaces that are specially coated, milled and hot-plate processed to give them an exceptionally soft and supple feel. LEATHER INTERIOR
