I am trying to buy a new set of tires for my husband's wheelchair van ('89 Dodge Ramvan B250). In five years, it's had less than 5000 miles put on it, because it's only used for Dr visits. The best price I've found on warranteed tires, is from Discount Tire Co. for Kelly-Springfield Pathfinder AP's. However, I can't find anything on the web about these tires. I want the vehicle to be safe, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on tires that rot either. Any suggestions would be gratefully appeciated.IP: Logged |

For your van I highly recommend the Kumho A/S 795. A very high quality all season tire with very long mileage durability. I have a set on my Toyota 4Runner which uses the same size as your van and have almost 90,000 miles on them. Still enough tread left for about 10,000 more miles. Wet traction is very good as is snow traction. You can get this tire in an extra load version which has stronger sidewalls. At only $48 a tire its a super value. Go to tirerack.com and you will see nothing but possitive reviews about this tire from people who have a set on their cars and trucks.IP: Logged |
