We just took off Lee SteelTrax...great wet weather tire for minivan AND quiet..have been using for 10 years but no longer available in Maine.
Telstar Echelons were recommended...got to be the noisiest, slappiest tires going! Just put on for a recommended rain tire, which is a must for minivans. At only 1,000 miles, can't stand 'em.

One trick I learned to get good wet weather grip on tires is to rub cat feces on the surface of the tire. The acidic content in the feces creates tiny little holes that act like suction cups that improves wet grip greatly.
