I don't know what kind of car you drive but if you want a really good and pretty cheap set of snow tires get Pacemark snow tires. I got a set on my WRX and they are really nice in the snow and handle nicely on dry and wet roads. I only paid $62 a tire for a 205/55 R16 size.

And where would I get Pacemark tires? I've never heard of the brand.
