Am running factory Uniroyal Tiger Paws. Haven't read a good rating on these tires, yet. Anyone have a good suggestion for replacements in an allseason/touring tire, preferably high end? Much appreciated. These are absolutely awful!IP: Logged |

I also have an Impala and replaced my original tires a while ago with Hankook Mileage Plus GT H707. They are the best tires I have ever experienced for allround driving. Snow traction is really good, wet traction is great, handles tight turns nicely and is very stable at high speeds nearing 120mph. They also seem to last forever. I have over 68k miles on them and they still have lots of tread left on them, and I mean alot considering how much I have driven on them. I live in Detriot and the roads here are worse than what you would experience in Brasil. I have hit some nasty pot holes more than a few times and the tires never bruised. Once I hit one bad enough to knock my steering out of alignment and bent the control arm, but the tire was just fine. I only paid $68 a tire for them, best money I ever spent.IP: Logged |

Thanks for the advice. My friends got a set of Hankooks but they are high performance tires and he has told me they are great tires for the money. I will check more into before buying a set but so far they seem like a probable choice.IP: Logged | |
