I put this tire on my 1998 A6 in September. Cleveland has had tons of snow this year and I am very satisfied with the performance. And the tires cost less than the MVX4 or RSA.IP: Logged |

How are they holding up? I have been reading a bunch of stuff on Epinions.com that they don't hold their tread much past 20K. I need to replace my factory H rated tires on my XLE Camry. I know it's only a Camry but I have added a few items to get it's HP up a little and I drive on high speed highways with flash rainstorms. I have read good things about this tire when it's new. Once the tread starts to degrade, the tire's strengths strat to weaken. Just wanted another view of them before I go out and drop a bunch of money on them. THANKS IP: Logged |

I've been using these Dunlops on two of my cars and both sets have about 7,000 miles on them. The performance is good for an all season H rated tire but the rubber seems soft. I mean if your car is aligned well and you don't push it too hard on exit ramps the tread shows very little wear but if you do push these tires they seem to show more wear than other H rated all season tires I have used. I don't see any way these tires will last over 25,000 miles. I do like them and would most likely purchase another set. IP: Logged |

Do the A2's really have a AA traction rating? It's strange to me that, according to what is posted on Tirerack, the A2 has a doubleA traction rating while the supposedly sportier SP5000 only has an A (single A) traction rating. Any thoughts?IP: Logged |

Yes the A2s do have a AA traction rateing. I don't know why they have AA and Sport 5000 have A. Maybe its the soft rubber thats wearing off of my tires so fast.IP: Logged |

One reason might be that the AA rating is relatively new and many manufacturers haven't retested their "A" tires so see if they meet AA standards.Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

I have a set of A2's on my '00 Caravan and have never owned a more responsive and fun tire (including mich, GY, Brookstone, Toyo). I wasn't careful with the tire pressure and they prematurely wore on the outside edge and they need replacement after 25K. If I had been more careful they probably would have gone another 10K. I did not notice any degredation in performance with age. IP: Logged |
