I NEED NEW TIRES FOR MY 2000 NISSAN ALTIMA. I WAS HOPING SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR GOOD TIRES. I AM BEGINNING TO UPGRADE MY CAR FOR MORE PERFORMANCE AND DECIDED TO START WITH THE TIRES. MANY THANX FROM ONE CAR NUT TO ANOTHER.

if you really want some performance go with a lower profile tire like 205/50R15. It will give you better off the line acceleration, and better cornering too. The tires I love right now that are high performance, the Yokohoma AVS ES100. Your stock size sells for $73 each while the lower profile size 205/50R15 sells for $81 at tirerack.com.
