Does anyone have an experience with Michelin Cross Terrain, relatively new tire. They are supposed to be good off road, good on road and rated at like 540 for milage! I'm trying to look for upgrade to very soft Toyo Transpath on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE (255 65 16). I'm trying to decide between Pirelli Scorpion ST, ST and Michelin LTX A/T and Cross Terrain. Possibly even Michelin 4X4 - they look great, come on Land Rovers, but they seem to be off road biased? What should I do?? I'm looking for better on road handling but good off road and snow as well - I'd say I'm looking for a 9 out of 10 in handling and an 8.5 out of 10 in snow and light off road performance.------------------ Steve.. I'm looking for tires for my 2001 Tahoe. Thinking about the Cross Terrains also. Amnyone with info may be able to help both of us.I had the Scorpion ST on a '96 GMC Sierra and had no problems at all with them and would recommend them (if we get any negative response on the Cross Terrains) IP: Logged |

Hi Guy's!Do not buy SUV tires before evaluating Nokian WR SUV. Handling will be 10 on 10, rain performance is phenomenal because of silica compound! Winter performance is top also! A must see! It will be like you have a new and improoved vehicule! IP: Logged | |
