I was almost convinced to purchase a set of Bridgestone Potenza 950 tires for my Maxima SE, and then heard about the Toyo Proxes TPT unidirectional tires.

Has anyone heard of these? I am told they are relatively new on the market.

I don't know anything about the tires in question, but I have a Maxima GXE with OEM Toyos on it. 33k, and they are gonners, serious cracking throughout the tread. No Toyos for me.

I'm in the desert southwest, perhaps they just can't handle the heat and UV.
