I live in FL and drive a '95 4-Runner 4x2. I use a tire size of 30x9.5x15. I had General Grabber ST's on it and just replaced them with BFG Longtrail T/A's. I do a lot of errand-running. I do no offroading except for the occassional (maybe once a month) dirt road. Are the longtrails going to be ok? We do have rain here, so I guess that is my only concern. I have 30 days to take them back and get something else if I don't like them. The only other tire they recommended there was the Michelin M/S, but they were $30 more a tire. I have called around to several tire stores and have been told that these Longtrails are a step ahead of the Grabber ST's.. One other tire store recommended Dayton Timberline A/T's but they are owned by Bridgestone Firestone, and I don't want anything associated with Firestone right now. Any thoughts?
