I need new tires for my 1998 Mitsubishi Galant and wonder if anyone has a recommendation. I have Bridgestone (originals) on now (70,000 miles), and thought I would buy them again, but wanted to ask opinions first. Thanks and Merry ChristmasIP: Logged |

What type of all season tires are you looking for? I have also been shopping for all season tires but dont want to give up too much dry performance. I like the reports on the Dunlop SP Sport A2, it looks like exactly the type of tire I need. There are many choices when it comes to an all season tire, you have to figure out what tradeoff's you are willing to live with. Most standard all season tires with a T-speed rating or lower will work ok under normal driving conditions in all weather, but don't have enough dry grip or steering response. I don't like sloppy handling tires so I am looking at performance all season tires,so far the Dunlop's seem to fit what Iam looking for. IP: Logged |

On Honda Civic I have had Dunlop D60A2. Very sticky in wet and dry cornering although they produced more body roll in cornering than I liked. They were terrible in snow - had to pull them off in winter. Newer JBL version might be better, but I doubt it. I'm now using General XP2000 H4's. Not quite as sticky in wet and dry cornering, but flatter cornering and GREAT in winter snow. Better than any all-season iv'e ever had.IP: Logged | |
