I'm sure this is a common debate!
Driving Saab 9000 Aero & 205/55 ZR16 Michelin Pilot HX is OEM tire I'm replacing. Have winter studded tires I need to run for 6 months here in Denver. I could shorten the time (to 3-4 months)with studded winters if I go to an all season and there have been significant advances in the tires since the Pilot HX (8 yrs old).
Questions:
1) Would I notice a handling & performance decrease with say the Dunlop SP5000 which is W rated "All Season" compared to my Z rated Michelin Pilot HX.
2)And will there be a significant improvement moving up to the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position compared to my Michelin's which I assume I could only use for about 6 months of the year.

Thanks for any feedback

If you drive aggressively, I would say the answer is yes - on both counts.
