Any recommendations on what to put on my 98 Dodge Ram quadcab 1500 w/ 2 wheel drive? I don't really go off road, but do tow a boat, and am thinking of getting a slide in Camper shell, so I want decent tires to handle the extra weight. The truck came with Michelin LTX A/S. I have no complaints with them, but they are more expensive than the others. Are they worth the $? Any comments on the Bridgstone Duelers?

I'm running the Dueler HT's on my van, load range C (LT's). Very nice. You can return them within 30 days, but probably wouldn't. I think they're wearing out faster than they say, but with a 60,000 mile, 5-year mileage warrantee that gives me pro-rated credit on any replacement tire, it's ok.I'd also look at the Pirelli Scorpion ST.

Since the LTX A/S is an all-season tire, look at other comparable tires:Bridgestone Dueler H/L Yokohama Geolandar H/T Goodyear Wrangler AP That Pirelli mentioned in the other post Toyo Open Country
