I would really like a set of tires with raised white letters for my 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo, but I can't find anyone who makes P225/60R/16 with white letters. Anyone have any information or suggestions?

The tires that I think would look very cool on your Monte are the Goodyear Eagle #1 Nascar tires with raised gold letters. You can view them on your car at tirerack.com. I think General XP 2000 also make raised white letter tires in your size.

Yeah, I thought about these, but my monte carlo is white with the factory white painted wheels. I also have red Chevy bowties in the center of the wheels. I'm afraid that gold lettering on the tires will be too much. What do you think?

P.S. - I think you can only view the wheels on your car at tirerack.com, not tires, right?

gold lettering wouldn't really go with a white car.

next I would try companies that specialize in older cars with new updated tires because many of them go for the white lettering but want a nice radial

don't give up, i know it is out there. call all local dealers and of course discount tires and tirerack for some help.

coker tire specializes in classic car tires. their website is coker.com

the Subaru Outback has raised white letter tires in size 225/60R16 for the 2000 model. They are probably all season radials not a truck all terrain tire like other sport utility vehicles. find out what brand they use.
