Below is a 1995 Jeep Cherokee with a moderate right front impact. It appears that nothing unusual exists. A routine inspection would entail writing for all of the obvious sheet metal and inner panel damage. Not a big deal right?
Wrong...Wrong... Wrong... This particular model has a tendency to have complications with the suspension and steering. The wheels and tires are really oversized for the size of the vehicle. If even the front edge of the tire is impacted, resulting damage often occurs and must be inspected very carefully. The next page shows what happened in this impact.
