Trying to decideI am trying to make a decision on tires and need to decide by Monday. I drive a 95 4Runner 2WD. I only drive on road. I am trying to decide between BFG Longtrail TA or Michelin LTX MS or if anyone has any other suggestions, I would like to hear them. I need a quiet, smooth riding tire. HELP!
Eric KI have run the Michelin LTX M&S on a Nissan pickup and and Ford Clubwagon E-350 van. They are a good quality, quiet, smooth riding tire. They get decent mileage. Traction is decent on slippery surfaces. However, they don't work well for mud.

Trying to DecideThanks Eric. I ended up going with the Michelin LTX M/S. I originally had General Grabber ST's on it. I then put the BFG Longtrail T/As on it and didn't like them. The tire store let me switch them but I had to do it on Monday at the latest. I had done some research on some other sites and found that people gave the Michelin's better reviews than the BFGs. I also spoke to some neighbors that have the Michelins and they like them. I don't go into the mud or offroad, so I guess that won't really be a problem. Thanks for responding.
