Dave RThe stock size tire for my Olds Aurora is 235/60/16.
Can I use a 245/55/16 on this car.
donfromnaplesyes you can

go to to check on tire diameter changes going to different tire sizes. a difference of 5% or less is very safe and does little to change your speedo, odometer or ABS feature. having a different tire size of say 11% is likely going to give you some problems with speedo and odometer accuracy, gas mileage(up or down depending on if you have a smaller diameter tire or larger one) and finally confusing your ABS as to when to engage and disengage*not a good thing*. the tire size you suggested is nearly identical and will cause no problems for your car.
