AgnesI'm looking for a set of all-season tires for BMW 328i that will perform well on the snow. The stock Michelin Energy MXV4 did badly on the snow, so I would like to find something else equivalent or better with H or V speed ratings. Thanks.
RyanDepending on where you live and just how much snow you're likely to see you might want to consider getting a set of cheap steel wheels and dedicated winter tires.
Also check out Nokian tires. They're touted as being excellent in the snow. I'd get a set but none are made in my size.

Thanks, Ryan. I live in southern California and go skiing almost every weekend during winter. So I would prefer having all-season tires and not having to change to snow tires just for weekend skiing. Do you have any other suggestions?

donfromnaplesI have recommended these tires to some others here on this board. The Goodyear Aquatred 3 tires are affordable, long lasting, do well in all types of weather, and you can view the customer survey results at tirerack.com
JayI had the same criteria when looking for tires for my Outback. Michigan gets its share of snow, and even with awd, I wasn't too happy with the stock Michelin XW4 all-seasons. I went with the Nokian NRW which, for me, turned out to be the perfect choice. They're great in the snow and I don't have to swap them in the summertime!
