CrogI need new tires for my 95 4Runner. I am deciding between the Pirelli Scorpion ST, the Bridgestone Dueler AT, and the Yokohama Geolander AT+. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
SteveI would recommend the Pirelli Scorpion A/T or the Yokohama Geolander AT+. Both are great tires. I have the Pirelli Scorpion A/T and love them!! I've heard great things about the Pirelli Scorpion A/T in the snow and rain. They are a bit less money then the Yokohama Geolander AT+ too.

leojmccaGo with a set of Michelin LTX M&S tires. you'll get 75K on these tires. I used them on my Toyota P/U after replacing my desert duelers from the factory at 50K. I bought only two sets of tires before selling my truck at 183K, at 125K and when I sold the truck, the second set of LTXs were still going strong. I would use the truck off-road and in the rain and snow without any problem. They're worth the extra money.
fidelioi have the pirelli's on my explorer sport w/ 4wd, and i think they're great all-around tires
dirtyspence Pirellis ARE a great all around tire. I know of know one that i've spoken with that dislikes them. They are manufacture by a subsidiary of Cooper tire...
( www.coopertire.com ) ... so you may want to give their website a look see. While you're there check out the Discoverer series tires.

I you're a true "bargain" shopper you may want to check your local Walmart store and get a price on their Liberator ALL Terrain tire. You did;t mention size in your post, but I just priced a set of 4 30"ers mounted with a lifetime rotation/flat repair/balancing aggreement for right at $300! They're a nice aggressive looking tire too, as well as being VERY popular around my area.
HTH!
