Thanks I went with the LTX A/T for my Jeep GC since I do a fair bit of light off-roading and snow driving - I have about 20k on them and its been a great tire.
DolfanNat the Bridgstone Dueler HL.The latter comes highl recomended by CR,and for the price I'm thinking of them. Does anyone have any advie or suggestions? I mostly need for highway use and would like a guiet ride. donfromnaples I have the H/L on our Explorer and love them. Quiet, wear well, great price. The LTX Michelin is more geared for off road and on road usage and costs quite a bit more. Jay I've never heard a bad thing about the LTX M/S. My buddy replaced the Firestones on his Explorer and he thinks they're awesome. For hwy use, they are supposed to be quiet and wear like iron. DaveB It's hard to beat the LTX M/S for general purpuse road use.
