gkjsHave just put 4 new Goodyear Regatta 2 tires on 1990 T-Bird. Traveled from VA to FL and had to have tires rebalanced in FL due to bad vibration and noise at highway speeds. Vibration much better but tire noise still exists. Have option to trade up (~$25.00 more per tire) to Michelin X-ones but have read several reviews in which the Regatta rates higher in snow traction (an important consideration in a rear-wheel drive car). Anyone had experience with Regattas vs X-ones?
TJohnI have Regatta 2s in MN. I think they stick really well in snow. I don't think they are very noisy either. Although I have had some problems with Goodyears in the past. I had 4 Regattas, 1s, crack the sidewalls. Finally Goodyear gave Regatta 2s. I had one of them fail too...... With this info, you might want to try the Michelins.
