ScottHas anyone ever heard of Maloya winter tires? They're a swiss made tire, and are available from the Vredestein dealer in Canada.

Setting aside the Blizzaks, Happa Q's, Alpin, etc..for a moment, what about lower priced winter studless tires. ie Canadian Tire's ice tire(obviously only Canadians will know about these tires). At Walmart, they have a new Marshal 745 Gripmax tire. Supposed to be the same as a Kumho 745 tire, but the u.s Kumho web site doesn't show their snow tires yet.

I realize you get what you pay for in most instances, but I'm still interested in opinions on the cheaper tires.
