GillianEven though I have the larger 16 in P255 Firestone tires, I've been a wreck hearing about the tire separation. Mine have not been recalled, but I went ahead and replaced them anyhow as I drive carpool on the beltway everyday. I replaced w/ Dunlop Radial Rover ATs as they were sold out of Michelins and anything else comparable. In fact I got the last pair of Dunlops. The Dunlops are aweful, So much vibration I feel like the engine's going to be shaken loose. I have complained and asked that I be put on a Michelin "wait list". Any other recommendations? Anyone else have problems w/ Dunlops?
DurangoGirlNo problems with Dunlops here.

They (Dunlop) will be coming out with a new tire soon, to tap into this Firestone-replacement market. I don't have any details on it yet, though.

The AT's do have more road noise than the regular Rovers.

DurangoGirlDunlop just came out with a new tire for 4X4's and 4X2's called the "Pioneer".
