TMZ Does anyone have the new Uniroyal Tiger Paw Nailguard tire? I need new tires for a 1996 Grand Voyger SE. I am looking for an all season tire that will handle well, provide traction in wet and snow, and ride comfortably and quiet. Other Suggestions Welcome! Thanks Folks! rcc

rcc I HAVE HAD THE TIGERPAW NAILGUARDS ON MY CAR FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS NOW. ONLY PROBLEM THAT I HAVE HAD IS WITH THE BALANCING OF THE TIRES. I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS THE TIRE ITSELF OR THE PEOPLE INSTALLING THEM. AFTER MY THIRD TRIP BACK TO THE DEALER, EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE OK NOW. GRIP SEEMS TO BE FAIRLY GOOD. HANDLING IN THE WET IS GOOD, ON PAR WITH THE X-ONES I USED TO HAVE. WE WILL SEE HOW GOOD THEY DO IN SNOW THIS WINTER,BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE HEARD, THEY SOULD BE OK. HOPE THIS HELPS. TMZ Thanks rcc,
I appreciate the info. I purchased the Nailguards today. I asked the tire dealer about the balancing, as another dealer mentioned it to me. He said that the older model of the nailguard was heavy, and sometimes hard to balance. He hasn't seen any problems thus far. I have yet to take my car on the highway to see if I have any vibration or not. I am going to get an allignment first. From the info I researched, these tires seem to be a great deal-at least on paper. Hope they perform just as well! Take Care. TMZ
