dktullI am wondering who manufactures Douglas tires - I cannot find them in any tire manufacturer list. Also, does anyone know if it does any damage to the tires if they are installed "backwards" (i.e., the part of the tire showing says to install that side facing the inside of the vehicle). These are Douglas Performance tires.
bonecut2Douglas tires are made by Kelly-Springfield and are commonly sold at Wal-Mart stores. Their Performance tires have an asymmetrical tread design, so they are supposed to be installed a certain way. However, I don't know if it is dangerous or will affect tire wear by mounting them incorrectly. If they are fairly new, I would have them remounted and balanced as a precaution.
