mercI have on order a 2000 Silverado Ext. cab 4X4.
I want to replace the stock Firestone Steeltex Lt245-75-16 with a LT265-75-16 (same rims as the P265-75-16 available option, so rim width is no problem).

I do a bit of off-roading (<10%), mostly logging roads. Wet and snow performance is important since the roads seem to be wet almost all year round here in the Northwest.

I'm looking at Bridgestone Dueller AT 963, Pirelli Scorpion AT, Michelin LTX AT and Cooper LT. Any opinions on these tires?

Will going to 265's affect my speedo much or ABS?

DavebI know the Duelers and the LTX's work fine on the new Chevy trucks (ride, comfort etc.). When you pick up the truck, have your GM dealer calibrate your computer to the new size. It takes about 5 minutes.
JayI'll second Daveb's comments. The Pirellis will be better off-road then others, but louder on the road and will not give you the tread life that the LTX's will. I don't know much about the Coopers. My choice would be the LTX A/T.
