dollyi just received two tires marked 'SIGMA Supreme Radial'. can anybody tell me anything about these? who makes them?
The Sigma brand is a private label tire made by Kellyspringfield, which inturn is owned by Goodyear. It is a "value" line product, meaning it provides a lower cost alternative to a major brand tire like a BF Goodrich, Dunlop or Michelin. While it is a quality product, there are trade off's in selecting such a tire over a major brand. The tires complete performance abilities are usualy a step down, thing like total mileage potential, wet traction, and overall handling characteristics are a level below.
