Pete Consider SH30 for my 91 Accord EX, but would like to hear opinion from this forum first.. Thanks for your input! Dave You can't go wrong with this tire. Good performance and quite. Pete How do they perform in snowy condition?
Do they provide smooth and quite ride as well?
XYZ Customer survey results at Tirerack.com shows that this tire ranked the top in its high-performance all-season tire. Check it out! Pak SH30 is uch smoother than the last perille P400s. Better snow traction too. (I live in Buffalo, NY)
Can't comment on wet weather traction yet but if you look for a smooth ride, try it. May be as quiet as the MXV4 on my other
car and definitely get better snow traction. Perrilles were Ok on snow but the ride was not very smooth. Sh30 is almost as
good as MXV4 in term of ride quality.
Gears I have had SH30s on a 98 Malibu for 5,000 miles. I'm very happy with these tires. I havn't had them in snow but in the rain they a super. I can't find a single thing that I don't like about these tires. They ride smooth and quiet. When you throw them into a very hard turn, like when your trying to sneak through a yellow changing to red light, they just grip, no slide, and they stay silent...no squeal...to call attention to your driving. I've used a lot of the performance and touring tires that are on the market today and the SH30s are just so much better. I,m happy with my choice every drive. freddie I have a '93 Honda Accord SE that had Michelins on them and recently bought Firestone Firehawk GTAs. The salesperson said these are comparable to the SH30. I have driven them for a few days and pretty happy with them. Any positives or negatives or truth to what the salesperson said? Tireman9 You might check out http://www.bridgestone-usa.com/indexfr.htm
for the info from Firestone.
Mike J Pete - did you read the posts about the SH30 vs RE930? Consider RE930 also. Rob B RE 930 are great on my Passat. Better than my old Firestone SS10 or Toyo Proxes.
