SkibumI'm trying to decide between the LTX A/T and the Scorpion A/T for my '94 Grand Cherokee (235/75/15).

I need tires that can stay on the jeep all year 'round but still have good snow traction, especially for the snowy - and sometimes muddy - northern Michigan roads and ski-access trails.

Wet traction on city streets and decent tread wear are factors in my choice as well.

The Goodyear Wranglers presently on the car are good on the street, and fair in the snow, but poor in the mud and not exceptional in any category.

Any thoughts from tire experts or users?

ScorpionIf treadwear is your main concern, the LTX has a small edge. However, if all around performance is what you are looking for, the Scorpion A/T is your tire. It beats the LTX for handling (wet and dry), snow and wet traction, and is about equal in mud. The Scorpion will give your Jeep a much more aggressive look and feel. You might want to consider moving up to a 30x9.50R15 for an even more aggressive look.
