Bruce, how do you like your conti ch95 so far? I'm considering this tire for my car.bruce I have a grand caravan - tire size 215/65/16. I could use a few good recommendations for all season replacement. Can a 225/60/16 be used? Especially want a good comprimise between mileage/ride/rain and snow traction. (you know - the perfect tire). GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS Caddydaddy I have a '97 Town & Country and did some research to replace my Michelin MX4 215/65R16s, since one tire had a slipped belt at just 36K. If you go to a 60, you are probably looking at a tire with less than the 98 weight rating, which translates to 1,653lbs. I bet you lose at least 100lbs of cargo capacity per tire if you go to 225/60. There isn't much out there in the 16" rim size, so for my money, I'd go to www.discounttire.com and slap on a Michelin MX4. bruce I ended up with continental ch95. I have had them on for a couple days and they seem like good tires at a good price (70-75). They were recommended to me by tirerack. I hope I didn't screw up. Any comments on contis? tony quote:
