wooha1I have a honda civic - it came with H-Rated tires, so I am wondering if I should be putting H-Rated tires back on or if I can put on a Michelin X-one ( which I am told is a T-Rated) tires. Am I going to notice a big difference in the way the car handles, etc?

Thanks for your help in advance

benYeap, if you are a driver looking for some fun to drive, you will notice the difference on performance side, but the ride, noise comfort will be better for lower speed rating tires.

tireman9Yes you may notice a difference in a number of areas. I don't know how sensitive your butt is :-) so can only guess.
Many people think that the only thing that "H" rating means is the tires max speed capability but in reality it is an overall performance rating with 'H" being better than "T" etc.
In addition to better high speed durability the tire will also probably provide improved handling in both wet & dry. < remove x

navy_blueI have the same question about reducing speed rating from H to T for my 91 Accord EX. So, did you end up getting T rated tires? Did you notice anything?
