Bill ThereyDunlops suck the big one
Jack WongDunlops do not stink! I don't know what kind of dunlops you are refering to but I can tell you that My D40M2's are the best tires that I have ever tried and I have tried just about every tire out there. I have tried: Yokohama AVS-I: great in dry but suck in wet and wear fast Pirelli P700-Z: Great in wet but marginal in dry. Squeel too much and they suck on front wheel drive cars Bridgestone RE71: Good all around but too expensive and still not as good as the dunlops BF Goodrich Comp TA ZR3: The best in the wet but not as good in the dry as the dunlops Dunlop SP8000: Better on rear wheel drive than Front wheel drive. Dunlop D40 M2: the cheapest but the best.
BruceThis comment made me laugh! I don't know why anyone would argue tire quality with anyone who makes such a statement with absolutly no evidence to back up his/her claim. Besides that anyone who spells "Dunlop" as "Dunops" is obviously not a rocket OR tire
Mike C.My brother replaced a set of RE-71's with a set of D40 M2's and is not happy with the performance in either wet or dry weather.
Sandy ZdrojewskiWhat car and size tire are your dunlop DM40M2's on? I have Michelin XGT V4 205-55-16 on my 1996 850 turbo. I want a good all around replacement tire. I live in the northeast and get all kinds of weather.
MattI am also looking for good all season tires. I'm going to check out the Dunlop D40 M2s and the Yokohama AVID MD H4s. No one here has had anyhing bad to say about either tire and most are adamant about the good qualities of each tire.

did you have any luck in finding tires for your 850..i am in the same situation

DurangoGirlDunlop's do not suck. I'd buy a Dunlop over a GoodYear, Pirelli, or any other brand any day!
