Yokohama AVID H4 Tires will serve your car well while maintaining the high-end performance your car was meant for. They're also relatively expensive, but somewhat difficult to find. You can find 'em on the net at TireRack.com or other such sites. They'll probably cost you a bit under 200 bucks for a set vial mail then 50 bucks to get 'em mounted locally. Check out the Yokohama site for more info. The only down side is that their tread pattern has been around since 1996 so there might now be something out which will serve your car better.
