Hapless and Tireless: All-Seasons for Subaru Legacy

Need to get new tires for '94 Subaru Legacy Wagon (not all wheel drive). Live in a country area with a gravel/dirt driveway up a windy hill. Would like to get a good set of all season tires but know absolutely nothing about tires. The two tires I am looking at are the Bridgestone Potenza RE930 vs. Yokohama AVID H4. The Yokohama tires are cheaper but they seem kind of sporty for my car? Does anyone else have any suggestions or does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go to get ideas about tires (e.g. other websites, etc.?)
