some help. you have once again fueled the controversy and there seems to be two schools of thought. years ago i remember seeing a diagram of a radial tire constructed so that the outer walls were were reinforced for better cornering. because of this construction the tire could only be mounted one way. when i recently inquired about this, i was told that this information is correct. answers to my earlier post contradicted this. i called two tire manufacturers and they stated that it didn't matter. so the question now remains, are some tires constructed different then other tires? i think this is important to the safety of everyone out there because reversing tires is a common practice.
