Joe, you are fairly accurate. I was called by a local tire dealer today to look at a tire that was on a Honda...Acura...same thing. It was obvious the driver..if we can call him that (it was a man) hit something. I told the tire dealer it was an impact break. Then I saw the wheel, or should I say what was left of it. A BIG DENT IN THE RIM. The customer said "I didn't hit anything". Go figure. HE WANTED TWO NEW TIRES. HA!!! He could have two new tires for his Acura, I mean Honda for 150.00 Twenty years now, and its always the tires fault.
