From first hand knowledge from owners of each tire you are inquiring about.
The Goodyear Eagle LS is not a tire you would want for mileage.
The Michelin LTX m/s isn't as aggresive as the Michelin LTX A/T but still noisey in the long run. When you do need a little traction, it isn't there when they are worn a little.
For long mileage and traction when needed I would check into the Michelin X-Ones.
