I need to replace the Pirelli P600 tires on my Corolla (P185/60 R14). I have been disappointed in these tires as they tend to slip on wet pavement (even dry) much more than the original tires on the car, even when they were new. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the original tires were.

I've had the Pirelli P400, Michelin MX4, and Conti 8000 recommended. Can't really judge myself the difference so am looking for recommendations. I'd like to get a little better handling than the P600's, and don't mind sacrificing a little wear to get it.

Suggestions?
