I had the same lousy Goodyear tires on a 1997 VW Passat VR6 and the tires were not only noisy but I had four flats and then had one blow up on me also, they called it a road hazard and I was out over $100.00. After trying to get Goodyear to do something, I gave up and took the things off at 22,000 miles. They suck. I will stick with Michelins or Pirellis from now on.
