Even though your tires are rated for high speed, spinning the wheels is the worst thing you can to tires. The centrifugal force will do a lot of damage to the sidewall, this is equivalent to tons of pressure on the tires. I heard of tires exploding when people keep flooring the car when the tires are spinning on deep snow. I suspect the culprit to your problem may be those red light spin-starts.
