I recently bought a set of Pirelli 210P for my BMW 318i, which I found out was a mistake the hard way. We had a snowstorm last two weeks ago in evening. After I finished dinner at my friend's place, 4" of snow had fallen. I spent 30 minutes trying to get out of the driveway. In the end two of my friends had to push my car. Despite the traction control, ABS, and the 4 brand new Pirelli snow tires, the car just could not get traction. I then spend 2 hours driving home (30km away) slipping and sliding. I thought for a while that the RWD car had been my downfall, but later found that some of my other friends with BMWs and Michelins had no problems at all!
