I am interested in the blizzak snow tires but i am hearing that the softer outer layer of rubber wears out after 1 winter (12 K miles). would like to get your input. I live in Colorado Springs Co, Our roads are usualy dry, but I ski and west of the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 it can get pretty nasty. Thanks--Mike
