I have P7000s on my MX3 now. They are superb all-around tires and seem to have tremendous braking prowess. I can't testify personally
as to their aquaplaning behavior, but ione of the main reasons I purchased tehm was because of a tire test I read from a German magazine wherein, in a 225/50x16 (BMW test car)size, they were FAR superior in deep-water transverse grip to everything else --
most notably : the much-ballyhooed Goodyear F1-style rain tires.
