Hi all,

Hmmm, impressive snow line ...might not be the words use by any serious winter tyre testers
Just returned from the Lapland as we got the first snow down, test drived Ivalo from Michelin,
Hakka 1's, Blizzak from Bridgestone Gislaved North Frost II. Best still even thought an old
model is Michelin 260, it is always a compromize if spikes are not being used considering total
winter wheaher is "on". Over years Vredestein has levelled among the other mid and low end
tyres. The new spike tyre they have "Snow Star ice" is Q rated and bellow average in just
about every gategory except being quite cheap.

Vredestein has always focused on consumer tyres, small and medium size family cars - not
that much on the perfomance side of things, 16"" being the largest wheel size with the
summer tyres. I think one describing detail is "red or yellow striping on the sidewall".

Oh yea, I am in no relations with any of these companies mentioned above.
