I was wondering if anyone has tried the new Pilot XGT V4/Z4 by Michelin?
I am looking to replace my stock tires with another ultra-high performance
all season tire I was leaning towards Dunlop SP4000's over Yoko AVS S4's
until I read that the new Pilot is a vast improvement over the less than
mediocre stock XGT V4 in handling, braking, hydroplaning, a little less
noiser(not much),longer wear(due to rolled shoulders) and about $10
cheaper per tire than the XGT everwhere I looked go figure?

The Pilot is even claimed to get better gas mileage, due to less rolling
resistance and a 300AA rating, which every tire in this class has except for the
XGT which has a 220AA rating.

However, I am a little skeptical since the XGT's performed so poorly, but the Pilot's
tread design looks the best out of all the tires I am considering, but looks can be
deceiving.

Thanks in advance...
