Having just moved to the Seattle area from S. Calif., I'm more than worried about the coming winter. It's supposed to be a bad winter, with much more snow than they're used to, but of course Seattle is known for all the rain. I'm in need of a tire that does as well in the rain as it does he snow. Since I'm not used to this weather, I'm going more for safety than cost this year. I was all set to go with the Blizzaks, but I've read a few times where they don't perform in the rain. Could someone let me know the true story with the Blizzaks? Also, how do studded tires compare to snow tires, like the Blizzaks? Is that something I should be looking into? Thanks for any info.
