I was looking for new tires for 95 Lexus SC400. The car had Goodyear GT+4?. Anyways finally one sidewall went bad so I had to get new tires. The local tire store sold me a set of s306 225x55xr16 and i could not be happier. This Lexus is a V-8 model and moves pretty good and at high speeds the sidewalls remain real stiff. For quick lane changes the car feels like it is on a rail. For comparison I feel the bite is as good as the 17" Goodyears on my corvette. Now with the Lexus you want a quiet ride because the car is so quiet. The Goodyears were very loud as they got older but I was amazed how quiet these s306's are. the price was really right compared to some of the other tires out there. I have had Yoko's on motorcycles but this is a first for a car. I would not hesitate to buy them again.
