I agree with the need for the two sets of tires but have a couple of thoughts.
I ask a lot of my tires and the tires I like most are the X-ones from Michelin. My local tire store
price matches and will sell me X-ones for the same price as the Sam's Club version.

I have not liked the Blizzaks I tried because I have a relatively tall vehicle and the sidewalls
were not stiff enough in dry weather. I travel to Minnesota in the winter and some curves on the
highway were scary in the dry. In the snow, they are great though.

If I were to do this again, I would definitely go to the junk yard for steel wheels so my
winter tires could stay mounted. I have been paying to swap them every year.
